Cash Youth Sports Association
is a non-profit organization that was established in 2007 for kid's 4-12
years of age. CYSA at the present time offers Football, Cheer, and
Basketball to kids from K through 6th grade, and would like to add
Baseball in the near future. When CYSA first opened up, kids practiced
football and cheer on a small piece of land at the CYSA Founderís house
and at the time we were only allowed to use the oldest gym at Boles ISD
to practice basketball, but we were not allowed to host games at Boles.
After two years, Boles ISD opened up it's doors and now allows us to
practice football and have games at the school and use one of their new
gym's to host basketball games.
Sweeney, the superintendent at Boles ISD, stated in a meeting with CYSA
that it is an honor to have an association like Cash Youth Sports
Association. He feels it is a great opportunity for our younger kids,
develop them mentally and physically. Being involved in youth sports is
a healthier after school
activity than TV and video games.
